Tom's Progress Report
Tom Cox was injured in a car accident on Friday, Dec. 16. He dislocated his spine severely in the neck area, which has left him with no feeling and inability to move at all below his chest area. He has limited use of his arms, although his left hand seems to be stronger than his right. He has a spinal cord injury, but did not sever the spinal cord totally, so we hold out hope that he may one day walk again.

I too am a downstairs usher and have ushered on occasion with both of you. I'm not sure whether or not you know me, it doesn't really matter. We're still Fox family. The Shephard Center is a wonderful place and I'm so glad that's where Tom is. You both will be in my daily prayers to see Tom up and around and back at the Fox.
Don't ever give up hope that Tom will be as good as new!!!! My husband was diagnosed with Cancer three years ago and has undergone 2 Stem Cell transplants, the most recent one well over a year ago. Thanks to wonderful doctors, a wonderful donor - his sister, and God he is now Cancer free. We thank God for each and every day and I hope to have my husband around for a long time. God works in mysterious ways and we don't kow why things happen but it must be for a reason. We are all given an amazing inner strength that gets us through the toughest times.
I know Michelle that you too have such an inner strength.
Again you are in our thoughts and prayers and we pray for a speedy recorvery.
